we used to say 3 years ago that skazi was only for "chacoteiros", we had a moviment anti-guitars on Brazil in that time, all people who liked the new tendencies of psytrance in that time (guitars, "hellomotto" songs, pop music remixes into psytrance) was discriminated by old psytrance fans (goa, india psy, israel old stuff).
Now the psytrance's roots ravers hate other things like electro ("rebolation"), minimal, tech house hehehe
All my old friends don't go out anymore because the rave scene become so popular and comercial that has lost some of the best things it used to have. We have up to 4 private open air parties for week to choose, and generally one big open air rave a month. This is near sao paulo, we have tons of other parties in other cities (Brazil is hugh as you can see on google maps, if you haven't checked it out alredy )

Saw Highko and Cosmo earlier this year at Noise Poison 09 just out of Melbourne, Australia. Man those guys make some fast hectic tunes!

I've seen Hallucinogen/Shpongle twice now... great performances. Best underrated live performance I've seen however was Dark Soho... ROCK GUITARS!

My wife and I made our first trip to Europe last year just to see Shpongle live at the Roundhouse on Halloween. We also spent a couple of days in Amsterdam, and caught Tangerine Dream the evening after Shpongle. It was an amazing trip to say the least! I wish we could go back and see them again this year.

Its great huh. competition between those producers to put out that next fuckin awesome tune can only do good things for production standards Good times...
Lilliana Perris
10.08.2009
mmm.....i hear ya!

With Psy.....I find that every now and then....the production take a big jump ahead.

Then all of a sudden....all your tracks sound shyte compared to it!

Dude, the amount of times people have come up to me saying "Dude, totally play that VNV track" and I say "This is that VNV track" or something along those lines...

I have that older stuff that kills too, that no one plays, but that's not the concern. The music has a psycle (see what I did there ) but it just takes a lot longer for some kinds to get cool again, and others I just hope they never do.
